Ogawa Coffee Shop Original Organic Ground Coffee. Ogawa Coffee Shop was founded in Kyoto in 1952 as a coffee shop specializing in coffee culture, and Caters to customers' demanding needs and diversity.

Ogawa pursues the Authentic Flavor of Coffee and Delivers it with Passion. Taking care of the connection with coffee producing countries, coffee appraisers conduct TPA tests to pursue only raw beans meeting the original high standards that are used for Ogawa coffee. These Exclusive Coffee beans are given the name of "ARK-OGAWA".

To maximize the condition of beans and individual taste, the beans are roasted separately. Multiple roasts are applied with different depths to the same kind of beans to draw out the subtle differences, and then they are mixed giving Deep Depth to the original taste and aroma of the beans.

Instructions: (How to Brew). Ogawa Coffee Shop Original Organic Blend Ground Coffee instructions to "drip brew" Delicious Coffee:

1. Set the filter in a "Coffee Dripper Basket". Use about 2 Teaspoons per one cup (140ml) of water.

2. Pour boiling water over the Coffee Grounds and allow to soak and Steam for about 20 seconds.

3. When the Coffee Grounds swell, pour the boiling water in short intervals while the coffee drips from the "Coffee Dripper Basket".

SURFACE: Parcels are sent by surface (ship). While delivery takes longer, the rates are reasonable. (Recommended for large orders with a weight over 2,000 grams). This option provides a Registered Tracking Number which shows departure from Japan, ("Dispatch from outward office of exchange") and is not updated until a few days before final delivery is made in your country. The service is slow but very dependable. (Average Delivery: Worldwide in 2-3 months).

Ogawa Organic Coffee - A Pleasant Brew

As usual, great service from Jeff. As for the coffee, a coffee made with coffee beans from multiple sources with no discernible dominant signature. Medium to slightly high roast impression for me and a good body as use of a little more than the standard 8g/sachet, ie 8.75g in this case. Though I prefer Ogawa's decaf flavour wise (tasted while in Japan), this is good and I do like to encourage organic coffee producers. I buy this fairly frequently.
